The Lincolnshire Edge Super Sprint, Sprint and Standard Open Water Triathlon 2021

18th July 2021

The rumours were true and we have been working extremely hard with the relevant authorities to bring this well received race back. A 750m swim lap in Anglian Waters’ Cadney reservoir means a safe and secure swim for athletes plus excellent sighting for spectators during the events. An honest bike course with plenty of opportunities to get aero but a few cheeky hills to keep a level playing field. A run around the reservoir then onto the quiet country road of Cadney before a finish line chute in front of spectators in the grounds of the reservoir.

New for this year will be the option to do a Supersprint Triathlon or a Sprint or Standard AQUABIKE (Swim and bike).

Early Brigg Sprint Triathlon 2021

Sunday 25th April 2021 !!!! POSTPONED DUE TO COVID-19 !!!!

The classic start to the year to test that early season form, tweak transitions and test the new bike position or race gear in the heat (!) of battle. A familiar course to many with ample spectating areas for the much needed and welcomed support.

400m pool swim in the Ancholme Leisure centre pool. Short distances to a secure transition area with a excellent road surface for the fast and flat bike course. A 5km run through the Brigg Market place to the feed station on the quiet country road to Cadney makes this an excellent first time race or a PB course for the developing triathlete.
